Our life is too dangerous. Natural disasters can destroy us, but we are people and everyone can do everything. We are one race and we will do everything to help each other. Today I will tell you some amazing stories.
To begin I will tell you about a big disaster 1st February, 2010 The whole world is helping Haiti! Rescue teams have come from places as far away as lceland and China. We have cleared the main roads of Port-au Prince, though, so food and medical supplies should get through soon. More volunteers have just arrived. Together, hopefully, we can rebuild Haiti after this awful disaster.
After that I want to tell you a story. This story is a really big proof. Everyone can make everything. Greg Mortenson’s story began with failure. He set out to climb K2, the world’s second highest mountain. He never made it to the top. After five days he stumbled into the village in northern Pakistan, in juried and hungry. He saw they the villages were poor and there was a lot of disease and hunger. Also, the school didn’t have a roof and the children wrote on the ground with sticks. He said he will build a school for them. He promised. He came back to rise some money to achieve his mission. He sold his house and lived in the car. It was just a beginning of something big. Today his organization has around 80 schools In Asia. Greg hasn‘t finished yet. Everyone can make good things!
Secondly let's talk about animals, charity events and our big ocean. Ocean takes 2/3 of our planetThere are five oceans- the Pacific, The Atlantic, The Indian, The Southern and Arctic Oceans.So, scientist have recorded more than 23,000 species of living creatures and plants and that’s just underwater.Our oceans are beautiful and full of beautiful and endangered animals. Unfortunately, pollution from factories is poisoning fish in our oceans. To help and save our precious oceans, don’t buy seafood of endangered individuals, like bluefin tuna.Also, recycle your plastic bottles and cans, because it's too important for our oceans!
There are more than 5 thousand species of animals. People kill animals and species disappear. If animal species become scarce on earth, they are called endangered. Pink river dolphin. This species disappears every year by 10%. There are 300 dolphins left. They got into the Guinness Book of Records. Cross River Gorilla. She also became an endangered species of animals. There are about 300 left. They are hunted. In the World there was only one individual of the turtle Loggerhead Sea Turtle. They eat packages and garbage that people throw into the sea.
People love animals. Animals have own day in year.The name of this day is "World animal day". In this day, people come to zoo with their children. People give food to animals and make donations to help them. Children ride on some animals and feed them. This day appeared in nineteen thirty-one in Florence on the fourth of October to help animals It's a cool day!
One of the most beautiful, dangerous and rare of them is The Sibirian Tiger. The Siberian Tiger is the largest from the cat species on the Earth. Almost all wild Siberian Tigers live in the forest of the mountains range east of the Amur River in the southeastern region of Russia. It is a huge and powerful app animal than can grow up to three meters in length and weigh up to as much as 300 kg. It has large powerful legs that enable it to run at speeds of up to 80 kmph and its long hind legs help make it a very good jumper. Tiger is a carnivore and hunts deer and wild bear but it can also eat fish. It needs 10 kg of meat a day but it can eat up to 50 kg in one meal.
Finally I will to tell you about The Red Nose day. Red nose day- it's charity event what start one time in two years. Everyone want to rise money for food in poor countries. In 2009 a group of pop singers record a song to raise money. supermarkets sell red noses. All profit from selling red noses come to charity.
I believe people will be more carefully. We will protect our planet, because disasters are too dangerous for planet and people. We are one race, we are one big rescue team for our planet
